Grey’s Anatomy Wins 2007 Teen Choice Award
Grey’s Anatomy was among the winners during this year’s Teen Choice Awards. The TV show took home a prize for its only nominated category under best drama show.
Katherine Heigl didn’t win in the category of best comedy actress, but Knocked Up did win best comedy movie, so that’s good enough. Anyone else find it a bit ironic that Knocked Up won, while being the only R rated movie in the list? Hehe.
Congratulations to the cast and crew of Grey’s Anatomy for once again rising above the rest.

T.R. Knight Is Signed for the Full Season of Grey’s Anatomy

It has been confirmed by E! Online that T.R. Knight has been signed for the full season, and not 12 episodes as some rumors floating around the Internets suggest.
I tell you this, because, apparently, there is a rumor floating around—which started somewhere in the mysterious ether of the World Wide Web—that T.R. only signed on for 12 episodes this season. And a handful of you have sent in panicked Q’s asking if this is true.
While the show’s official rep at ABC says she never comments on the details of actors’ contracts, an inside source close to the show tells me this is most definitely not true. I’m told T.R. has signed on for all episodes of the upcoming fourth season and that he never would have been given his recent pay hike had he only signed on for half of the episodes.
As for the storyline, you may remember that George McStupiePants (kidding! I do love him) flunked his intern exam at the end of last season, thanks to the distraction of a certain she-devil who may or may not appear in the picture above. Still, I can assure you he will find a way to stay at Seattle Grace—full time.

So George is back 100%. Good news for all

Star Jones Interviews Isaiah Washington
Star Jones, former cohost of The View, is set to interview Isaiah Washington for her upcoming CourtTV show.
How does this all relate to Jones’ law-themed show? ”[Washington is] clearly in the middle of a story that involves law and ethics and values and judgment,” Jones said. ”But also, he has a brand-new show that brings up ethical considerations. We’re excited about The Bionic Woman, but there are ethical considerations [there] because we in our technology right now are moving to replacing limbs, and we’re moving in the whole area of stem cell research, we’re moving in the area of cloning and whether or not it can actually be done with a human. And in reality, that’s what you’re doing with The Bionic Woman, you’re playing God. And so I get an opportunity to talk about those kinds of issues.”
So for those of you still interested in hearing what Isaiah Washington has to say about things (past, present, and future), be sure to tune in. The show airs on August 20th on CourtTV, and Isaiah will be appearing on the first episode.

Chandra Wilson in Canal Street Reading
Chandra Wilson is no stranger to Broadway, but she’s been a little busy keeping the interns of Grey’s Anatomy in line. The good news for us theater lovers in the audience is that she’s not staying too far from the stage during her time off.
In fact, come August 20th, Chandra Wilson will be appearing in a one-night reading of Josh Greenfield’s Canal Street. The reading is to take place at the Los Angeles Hayworth Theatre and comes as a part of the Bruno Kirby Celebrity Reading Series, which will be directed by Gary Blumsack.
For those of you who are interesting in attending, the show will start at 8pm, and tickets are going for as low as $10. Not a bad deal for catching Bailey live and in person. For tickets and information, please call 213-389-9860.
